Taipei - Examining The National Hub Of Taiwan
Because of its governmental, cultural, and financial important to Taiwan, Taipei is a very prominent city. What makes it so unique is the blending of the old and the new in a way that seems effortless. This means you an expect a very interesting vacation if you decide to travel to Taipei. With its stunning temples, impressive skyscrapers, and traditional historical influences, Taipei is an engaging place to take a vacation, but you'll need to get a passport first. Passports, as well as passport renewals for expired passports, are available online.
Americans Will Need A Passport
Everyone in your traveling party will need a passport, even the youngest ones. Expedited child passports - and many more passport services - can be purchased online, and getting them online makes the process that much easier. The best part about getting your passport online is the dramatic reduction in the time it takes to get a passport. Being able to fill out the form online, submit it online, and choose a delivery option (even is as little as a day) prevents people from having to delay or cancel vacation plans because of the long wait time associated with the traditional method, which is between 8-14 weeks.
Taipei 101
For the best views of the city, head to Taipei 101, the second tallest skyscraper in the world. With 101 floors and an observation deck at the 89th,you can be sure to get some of the best pictures and views of the city imaginable, both during the day and at night when the city is all lit up. This tower has the world's fastest elevator and its shape is meant to symbolize bamboo, an important symbol in Taiwanese culture. There's also lots of shopping to be done in the tower. There is a large mall at the base, a food store in the basement, and a book store on the fourth floor.
Longshan Temple
One of the top things visitors like to check out are the temples that dot the landscape in Taipei. The Buddhist Longshan Temple is among people's favorites. For many generations, the Taiwanese people have been coming to this temple to pray and seek guidance on every component of life. While you're there, spare some time to explore the traditional area surrounding the temple, or attend one of the many festivals and other celebrations held at the temple during certain times of the year. Another popular temple is Xiahai City God Temple. It, too, has a wonderful historic area surrounding it, and it's worth exploring.
National Palace Museum
If you are interested in seeing one of the largest and most famous collections of Chinese art and invaluable artifacts, head towards the National Palace Museum. With artifacts dating back to the 10th century, many of the things in the museum have interesting histories.
Yangmingshan National Park
Yangmingshan National Park is a good spot to explore some of the mountainous natural setting around Taipei. Here you'll encounter some stunning landscapes, as well as some postcard-worthy views of Taipei from the peaks of the mountains.
Taipei is one of those places that is absolutely filled to the brim with things to do and places to see. Just be sure to save a little time to just get lost and experience the city firsthand for yourself. You will need a passport to do this, though, and expedited child pass ports and adult passports are available online. The U.S. online passport renewals are also available if your passport has expired.

money? The marketing wings of large corporations that make soda and cars. So
I’m on a tour right now. The bus is paid for by Mountain Dew and all we have
to do is hang up a Green Label Sound banner somewhere in the venue every
